  • Good Question. We do use SCUBA at times also. At the depth we are working we get about 1 hr on one scuba tank. Our last dive on the hookah lasted about 5 hrs on one tank of gas. So we would need about 10 tanks to do that much diving between us the cost to run the hookah for that time....$1.25 . The cost to fill 10 tanks... $50.00. SCUBA and Hookah both have there places in metal detecting. We use SCUBA at greater depths and if there is a strong current.

  • Shouldn't you put the air filters before the reserve tank to keep moisture and whatever contaminate from collecting in the tank?

  • Great setup. I'm definitely interested in putting together something similar, as I'm sure many others are. Could you possibly provide a parts list? Specifically on specialty items like your regulator, hoses, individual connectors, BC, etc. I'm interested in creating a electric model for my own recreational diving. If you have a list of the companies you purchased these parts from available that would be very useful as well. Thx. J

  • What is the PSI rating of the reserve tank...is it a regular compressor tank? 5 gal? thanks

  • Great video,Please make more. Cheers

  • How much pressure do you run in the storage tank?

  • @frenchie3052 you can buy one for 3,340 for 3 divers

  • the float isn't top heavy? I would like a setup like this mounted in the boat for quick trips to the bottom .

  • Great Video! Looks like fun!

  • Can you share the details of your hookah system and how to put it together?

    Thanks

  • Simplicity & ease of movement; less tiring and potential long-term savings on air tank fills @ $5
