@drummsticker All football players know what they get into by playing this sport. The NFL has limited the types of tackles that are allowed because they think of the safety of players, but that's not the case for the players. The players on the field want to go all out, but with all these shitty rules out there, it's basically turning into flag football, maybe even 2 hand touch. Give the NFL 10 more years, tackling will be outlawed by then.. That's what the NFL is coming to.
Hitting hard and delivering PAIN is one thing, but trying to kill someone on the field, no matter what sport it is, is outside the realm of sportsmanship. Something that all players need to remember before they step onto the field.
Uh....what do you mean? "I've seen worse in college"....Dude, this IS college....look at the clip AGAIN....and as for your comment "It's football"...yeah you are correct about the sport, but there are rules as with any other sport. Rules about spearing, rules about clipping, rules about helmet to helmet contact and other dangerous plays. All which are unnecessary and uncalled for. Ask those players who are now paralyzed due to hits they shouldn't have dealt or were sorry they did.
It was not fun to watch. The helmet to helmet was not the intention but sometimes that happens. Emory might be a beast but so is Nickoe. Thank God they both are fine!!!!! Let's go Dawgs!!!
That doesn't look like any fun to watch @levisilver . That's ridiculous with that helmet to helmet. Emory is a beast, that's why he kept the ball, and got back up. Let's go Auburn.
People need to relax. He actually led with his shoulder, but inevitably his head hit the receiver's.
