A walk on the historic Farndon Bridge crossing between Wales and England over the River Dee. Said to be haunted by a lone Royalist Soldier. Very differently and disturbingly, the screams of two princes who were drowned by those meant to care for them, are also heard on stormy nights.

  • i dont understand

  • I actually did the masonary work on that bridge back in 1990 when i was 16, (well knocking all the old motar out of the seams for repointing)

We stayed at the Raven pub in farndon village, i think its the Farndon arms now.

Back then the bridge had black railings mounted on the top of the walls which we had the delight of pulling out of the water when we cut them off with a stihl saw.

I still have some old photo's of it during repair when it was closed to traffic if anyone wants to see them.

  • Very spooky. You almost expect someone to jump out with a sheet over their head and shout "Boo!"
