I agree it was pretty shitty. I miss concerts like the Download Festival in Donington Park that just happened last weekend. :S

An example to the contrary is STS9's new years festival... right in atlanta and I beleive it was sold out (as in tix) or close to it. Langerado just sold out (as in their souls) and the festival crowd didn't buy it.

Haha, thats a joke... Miami 09 was canceled because their lineup was 80% trendy alt/rock/rap bands instead of all the usual bands that make these festivals so popular. They tried to play it off like it was the economy, but others festivals were doing fine. Trust me, it was the linup, not the walk that ruined Langerado this year. Festival goers are used to crazy walks and even camping in fields of horse shit and fire ants to see good music (i.e. langerado 08)

The reason Miami 09 was cancelled was because the camping area was not in Downtown Miami (Bicentennial Park) but like 30 mins away from the venue and nobody purchased tickets. Totally takes away from the open-air concert experience.

This was epic. They still got it. I didn't expect such a high energy set and performance from them, but I was blown away. Possibly the highlight of Langerado 09 for me, and I went in not too excited about the mainstream bands.
