Test run on air from a pump.

This is similar to the engines used in European river side-wheel ships, from the Elbe, Danube etc.
I have converted this engine from an oscillator built to drive a propeller, built after plans by Basil Harley (Miranda launch).

  • @DrFrankensteam Look here at my other videos, you'll see it under steam.

  • double-acting?

  • Very nice sounding engine. Would you mind sharing the bore and stroke with me? I'd like to build one like it.

  • @cffellows Hello, bore is about 14-15 mm and stroke about 20 mm.

  • Video troppo breve per un motore così interessante dal suono tanto bello.

Video too short for a steam engine so interesting with sound so beautiful.
