Yair Davidiy #11 Possessing the gates of their enemies

In this video noted Jewish scholar Yair Davidiy (britam.org) discusses the Scriptural prophecies which point to the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel going on to "possess the gates of their enemies". Throughout western history many of the tribes as European nations will have been (or are now) the superpower or prime influence of their day.
These include Holland, France, Great Britain, the USA and others. As we come to the climax of this age the two English speaking nations, Great Britain and America, those being the sons of Joseph, provide global stability for international trade. Great Britain used sea power to patrol the key geographical chokepoints of the planet. And today America has taken over as the global policeman. In the character of Jacob this is done with a level of imperialism. Historians might call America's present day global economic and military domination of world trade the 'Pax Americana' but they do not identify it as such. Most Americans are still in "partial blindness" to this prophecy other than a vaguely expressed sense of "manifest destiny". But as Yair points out this was all spoken by Hashem to the family of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob 4,000 years ago.
