@tegman7 I bought a sharper image hrm with calorie counter and I'm not seeing as much calories burned as I would like to burn. Is it because I'm already fit and fairly healthy? For example during the firs 30 minutes of insanity, I only burned 385 calories and I was busting my tail off. Is my watch wrong? It comes with a chest strap too. Please help!!!
i bought a nike triax c8. It looks cool but I never use it. Its annoying and complicated to set and operate. As far as tracking your workouts,.. there are some units that you can connect to your computer & download that info mine doesn't. As far as batteries you can easily remove that battery but again its annoying to use. You set your heart range and it beeps when you are out of range, Hope this helps you.
EXAMPLE IF YOUR NORMAL HEART RATE IS 140 U NEED TO RAISE TO 160 AND KEEP IT THERE FOR A GOOD CARIDO WORKOUT,NEVER SLOW DOWN OR U WILL HAVE TO RAISE I AGAIN
BUY THE- Timex Ironman Triathlon Digital Heart Rate Monitor 50 LAP,ITS PERFECT AND AS A BONUS IT TELLS U HOW MANY CALORIES U BURN OFF IN A WORKOUT
Although I don't use a heart rate monitor yet, I plan to. I have friend that is a runner who swears by them. I am wating for Nike to put out one that is compatible with the nike+ ipod system. It is supposed to be out soon along with some other gadgets.
Hi, I have a Polar F55 which can also calculate the calories you burn in a workout session. As I got stronger with time, after a while I found that Kenpo didn't burn enough calories as much as the other workout so I changed it for Kenpo/Cardio Plus, thanks to my watch. Also I can track all my earlier workout as they are saved in the archives by day and by weeks. It is the best piece of workout equipment I bought for P90x. Go to the Polar website and then find one on eBay...that's what I did.
I don't currently use one, but I think I'm going to get a cheap one just so I can gauge if I'm not pushing hard enough. Right now I guage it by how out of breath I am. If I can breath alright I push harder if I can't breath I just fall over and pass out. Works pretty good so far.
I don't use a heart rate monitor at the moment but with Intervals in P90X+, I'm considering it also.
As to your other question in your previous video, I still pause and take a breather during certain workouts. I read somewhere there's 2 ways to instigate change in your body: reduce the rest time between exercises and/or increase the intensity of the exercise itself. I generally use weights out of my comfort zone (more intensity).
ya they woork but u dnt need tht....seriously...just train hard..
