Using afterburner to turn in a dogfight ??? The EF-2000 can almost supercruise! Whats the point of using flares if you are on AB ? Also, when you are supersonic, if you suddenly extend air brakes the aircraft would experience a LOT of buffeting! It almost a rule that all WVR combat be done under military thrust as its much easier to turn on low power!

@pm2424 Hey, the Typhoon can supercruise with relative ease. And flares should be used even with afterburners as it is likely that the flares used by the Typhoon are able to confuse a missile (I was talking to a Typhoon pilot and I asked him about it, he told me it was classified :P) And I don't even think the guy wetn supersonic but your point is correct :P

@Wells1955ATC come on, burners!! its for showin off! couldnt fly today because my trusty but really cheap CD-R king branded joystick wore out the usb cable... WSAD and arrows for now.
