Red balloon depicts a child's longing for a red balloon. When he sees one, he sets off to catch it. But when he finds that he has lost sight of his mother in his pursuit of the balloon, he is inconsolable to the point of rejecting the very object of his desire -the red balloon.

I hope you dont take it personally. But I felt the short filw was just about average. I mean you could have chosen a more abstract or a more subtle path rather than the one you chose. I am trying to think of a way to come up with a more interesting parallel idea for this story, but cannot come up with any right now!
