Another off-the-cuff video by Armand.

I think this amp is one of the best I've ever heard/played through. It doesn't overwhelm you with feedback at higher volumes (and I would know feedback with my active pickups) but also has a huge ability to turn the gain and presence far past where necessary. The cab produces extreme amounts of bass, especially when you palm mute.

There are independent controls for each of the 3 channels (including presence, 3 band EQ, volume, but no reverb).

Head Specs: * 100W RMS * Three Channels (clean, crunch, lead) * Three independent channel volumes and presence controls * Textured vinyl covering * EVH striped metal grille * Weight of 55lbs * 4 6L6 Tubes with 12AX7 preamp tubes

Cab Specs: * 100 watts RMS * 16 Ohms * Four 12" 15-ohm Celestion G12EVH * Textured Vinyl Covering * 88lbs * Pop-out swivel casters included

The website I maintain and store I work for:

Recorded on a DXG HD camcorder and an Audix i5 mic.
Made to look as crappy as possible with Windows Movie Maker.

  • very nice demo....what state is the store in taht the video is shot in?

  • We're in Ruston, Louisiana.

  • @viperabs hi i've tried this amp evh and i m find that the presence knob has really small action on the tone till you put it to3/4to the endand here the sound realy change, especiually on the 3 channel. is your amp has the same particularity?

    thank's

  • @julienvervaecke Yeah, all of them do. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the audibility of the changes in presence up until that point, and it is terribly sensitive at that end.

  • do you get a "pop" sound when you switch channels on that amp? I'm returning one because mine started to make a loud pop when i did.

  • Many have come through our store, and none have had a pop when changing channels. It could be a problem with your power, either internally or in the location (building/house) that you are using it. Try another location before returning it.
