Tze-Lan Sang’s research interests include Gender and Sexuality; Chinese Literature; Chinese Film and performance studies; and urban culture. Lamia Karim’s research interests include gender, political economy, Islamic nationalism, violence, postcolonial feminist theory, and the anthropology of non-governmental institutions. Humanities Center Director Steve Shankman interviews faculty, staff, and visiting lecturers about their research and interests for a 30 minute show that gives an inside look at the University of Oregon.
