A perfect pair of wins for Luis Salom at the first 2008 round of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup at Jerez left his rivals chasing shadows. Sunday's race saw a repeat of the Saturday podium, with 16 year old American JD Beach finishing second and 14 year old Scot Deane Brown ending up third.

  • I wish the Red Bull Rookies Cup was aired in America.

  • Americans aren't used to motorcycles under 500cc

Thanks to Harley Davidson (AMC) and Ronald Reagan in 1984

Ever since then, it's become impossible to even get bikes under 500cc in the USA for sport or road riding; Prior to that you could walk into a motorcycle dealer and find countless bikes between 125 and 240cc
