I just wonder what his atoms were doing in his head when he made this speach.
There is no way to be a leader in America except to guide...you gotta control it. Poop in a waste can? Start thinking as men, or we're going to have a lousy county. There's no both sides anymore.
And the moral of the story is?
If someone disrespects your institution, kick the ... .... hell out of their organisation. What do you women think about it?

Who cares whether he served in the military or not. The fact remains is that he did far more for the US doing what he did. Do you think he didn't know, being who he was, that he would be criticized for not serving? My father, who was in the Navy in ww2 loved John Wayne and his movies. Unlike some of our "leaders" JW never made anything up as to his service to our country.

searcherboy, I do not think he is held so much as a hero as an "icon", two different things. By the way you never answered my question, DID or DO you serve. If you have done neither this is really a wasted conversation. You can not judge a man who did or did not serve unless you served as well. I served 10 years in the USMC and I know what an Honor it is, but I will not judge anyone who did not serve, unless they were draft dodgers.
