Historic Release of Penguins in South America

On Oct 4th after months of rehabilitation, IFAW, along with members from CRAM, IMA and the environmental authority in Brazil, IBAMA, released 372 Magellanic penguins.

You can just feel the penguins happiness. I am sure they had the best of care in captivity but not one penguin stayed behind. I like the led penguin best, he was ready to go home! And isn't it better to live a short life in your own environment than a long one in captivity? I think it is.
