Pontus Alv on In Search of the Miraculous

15 maj 2010 hade Pontus Alvs senaste film "In Search of the Miraculous" premiär på Tangopalatset i Malmö. Tre dagar tidigare besökte jag honom för att ett snack om filmen och tanken bakom den.

On May 15th, 2010, Pontus Alv's latest movie "In Search of the Miraculous" premiered at Tangopalatset in Malmö. Three days prior I payed him a visit to discus the movie and the thoughts behind it.

please note:There already excist a book called "In search of the miraculous" it's from 1949 by P.D. Ouspensky, it's about him meeting Georges Gurdjieff in St. Petersburg in 1915 and him following his teaching for 8 years, its referred to as his quest for solutions to the problems of man and the universe. Also Dutch/L.A. based artist Bas Jan Ader called his last and final artwork "In search of the miraculous" when he set sail alone over the atlantic ocean in a small sailboat in the 70'ties.
