It seems the anti's have gone all secret squirrel. Their YouTube video has been closed to casual viewers. I can only assume they realised the tone and content of their posts was doing their cause no favours. Hiding it from the general public was probably the best move they could make :)

@nemesis7658; Whatever the individual differences between the SNH reports on the Pitreavie and Newburgh projects, the bottom line is they had "Serious Concerns" on both and objected to both. Yet Pitreavie now stands.
@theblackearnside; you don't know me so your claims about my character are baseless and are solely the products of your own mind set. By comparing our contributions, people can come to their own conclusions. Your posts were so "obnoxious", STV did a report on them. Says it all.
-
@nemesis7658; you claim Fife Council MUST reject the Newburgh project "given the views of SNH". However, in it's report on the Pitreavie project, SNH had "serious concerns because the project would have significant adverse impacts on ... the views from Pittencrieff Park and Dunfermline Abbey ... and ... The SW Dunfermline candidate Special Landscape Area". They also questioned the quality of the evidence given in support of the project. Yet the turbine now stands. The SNH view could not stop it.

I took a look at the planning application for the recently installed Pitreavie wind turbine in Dunfermline. SNH put in a report that had "serious concerns" and made much of the height of the turbine, it's setting (it is within a Special Landscape Value Candidate area) and the quality of the applicants evidence. Deja vu :) Yet .... the turbine now stands. As we have repeatedly informed the antis, SNH's opinion cannot block the Newburgh project. It will be taken into consideration ... that is all.

I don't know why the antis on their YTb thread keep pretending the SNH report, which came out against this project, somehow scuppers it. It is only one report from an organisation that opposes almost ALL rural developments and will be treated as such by the planning committee. Perhaps if they had anything else to cling to they might vary the tune a bit, but with only Jock and Lesley's bullying conspiracy/corruption fantasies and malice to augment the negative message, they are onto a loser.
-
Lesley... the 22nd...check the top of the page, remember the turbines? after the 22nd there will be no reason for anyone to post, I dare say there are people who post on the antis site who have genuine concerns, but I doubt that includes yourself and your partner
Your track record would indicate otherwise
-
this is becoming very tiresome, roll on the 22nd
then one way or the other this issue will be decided
beyond that, I wont be posting here again. If I serve as distraction to the antis, from the real issue here, ie the turbines, then all well and good, beyond the 22nd the antis will be on there own and will need to find other amusment, my comments are required elsewhere, more important people to speak to. You might even consider deleting this page chrissie,

Jock earnside says
“Kev wants to create a 'psychic garden' behind the Laing Museum and has publicly proposed this. How likely is that in happening? Emm... perhaps you can check yer crystal ball eh Jock.
Kev Logs off to the sound of balloons being deflated

Now jock is threatening to get the polis on me for being a Columbian coke mule or some other drug dealer. Perhaps you have spent too long in the psychic garden.
The poverty of of the antis argument is reveal. They don’t have one, when defeated in debate, they revert back to type. Which is to say slurs, insults, defamation. The last bastion of the desperate and morally destitute
I dont think anyone "sent the polis" to your doo jockr. they arrived by themselves, sick of your constant jibes

Newburgh wind says “and again keep it for the history group talk on the 18th about orchards and how us local seemingly didnt give a monkeys about them like was said on the beechgrove”
!!!, mmmm I have no idea what your havering about Newburgh wind but it sounds like another smear on the community, par for the course.
It sounds to me like the meeting was what everyone could anticipate. Only one surprise. No Nicholas Craig.

Yup, the rant is spectacular in its psychopathology. It is a sad reflection of our society that one individual can crave that much attention and can only obtain it by being so abusive to other individuals. The constant need to assert superiority over others in such disrespectful terms is breathtaking in its immaturity.
However, it is an interesting insight into a character with enormous comic potential; a tartan Nicholas Craig. "I must away, I feel a script coming on!"
