Bansuri Meditation in the Rain

This was inspired by (direct rip off of?) Subakuryu's video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPLogYHd8Y8&feature=channel_page

I've always enjoyed the raining and it's often inspired me in many situations. After seeing his video recently I couldn't believe I hadn't made a similar video already. As luck would have it, today it rained. I hope you'll forgive me stealing your idea.

This is simply a recording of some flute meditation. Whereas I just improvise and play for the sake the feeling.

I'm playing a bamboo bansuri purchased on Sado Island in Japan in August '08. It's in the key of C (all fingers down plays a C) however it was sold as being in F (three fingers down in an F) so perhaps a bansuri key is figured differently than I'm used to? This is arguably my nicest bamboo flute. It is very thin and very lightweight and has a rich and haunting tone.

Bansuri is Indian. This tune sounds more Japanese. Perhaps shakuhachi might be a better choice for your inner voice.
