  • No, Manchester United won a lot of trophies because they got the job done as a team, not as individuals.

  • didn't know Ruud's english was so good.

  • @ojohnnyboy Looks that way tonight.

  • One nil to the Arsenholes!!!!!!

  • I miss van Nistelrooy. Always stepped up with a goal when we needed it most. Best goalscorer I've seen, the intelligence needed to be that good is often overlooked. Partly because Ruud was so good at it that he made it look like it was easy..

  • Van Nistelrooy has already laid the ground work for a reunion by praising Fergie recently.

  • cheers ruud man united are a bigger club. and your a goal machine and a united legend. the only man to score in 9 straight premiership games. thanks for the memories van the man.

  • great guy, brilliant player.

  • I think it was the moment he fell out with Ronaldo over his selfishness, Ronaldo was over-indulgent back then and it was the season before the World Cup. After that incident with Rooney he came back a different player and he was on fire. Fergie had to choose between them and he knew the best was yet to come for Ronaldo.

But Ruud, what a player and what a guy, he was out best player along with Scholes for 2 or 3 years, it's just a shame he didn't win the amount of trophies he deserved. Legend.

  • Ruud was like a gift from god, unbelievable. Got the job done time and time again.

  • i as a mancunian and a united fan will always remember and love and miss rvn ALWAYS
