Video of very heavy snow and strong winds producing blizzard conditions in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California on Friday night, January 3, 2007. This video shows the first wave of heavy snow to effect this region of northern California, where 3-5 feet of total accumulation is expected. Okay, hate to be a party pooper, but that is not a blizzard. That is just regular old snowfall for the Sierras. Lived in Mammoth for several years, and I can tell you a blizzard is when you can't see more than 10 feet ahead of you...
