This non-instructional presentation demonstrates how a skilled aikidoka responds to and interacts with a broad variety of attacks.
The video illustrates defenses against different weapons (tanto, jo, bokken, tanbo), kicks, chokes and attacks from the rear (ushirowaza), as well as hip throws (koshinage), paired jo practice (kumi jo), paired bokken practice (kumi tachi) and paired tanbo practice (kumi tanbo). It also demonstrates reversals (kaeshiwaza) and fluid switching of techniques (henkawaza). Enjoy, relax and absorb the unlimited creativity of Andrade Sensei's, nonviolent, enlightened traditional Aikido.

Since Aikido and Zen are naturally intertwined, the title of this video alludes to a Spanish refran (similar to a Zen koan) that must be deeply digested at a subconscious level. Superficially, it states that only under severe pressure can you manifest your best martial spirit.
