Award-winning journalist Charles Thomson is interviewed on Blog Talk Radio about Kelvin MacKenzie's outburst against Michael Jackson and his children.

On Tuesday 9th November 2010, former Sun newspaper editor Kelvin MacKenzie appeared on UK breakfast show 'This Morning' and made numerous disparaging remarks about Michael Jackson and his three children.

After saying that he had a 'substantial question as to how and why' Jackson's children had ever been born, MacKenzie raised Jackson's 2005 trial and said the star's death had 'saved some children from a lifetime of being mentally corrupted'. He ended his rant by saying Jackson's children were better off now their father was dead.

Charles Thomson was the first journalist to cover fans' campaign against ITV for airing the comments and refusing to apologise.
