Me too. I wish I could be as optimistic as you, but when I research the history of the area, I suspect it won't turn out in a positive way. I believe the only reason it hasn't been as bad as it could be is because the Shiites, the Sunnis and Kurds have been distracted. When they finally turn their complete attention to the remaining Christians, it will be an enormous tragedy. Islam gives them the right. People will do anything if they believe it's "God's" will. Anything at all.

it is part of the islamic world, but at the same time it is a multi religous country. whether you understand it the same way i do, I believe everyone should be protected whether he be muslim, christian, or jewish.

700 iraqi christians were recruited in the iraqi police for protecting churchs and christian area's, although I think something should earlier, but i still think its progress.

Const: It is part of the Islamic world and its Arab people are part of the Arab nation.

There are 1.2 billion Muslims in the world at least. That makes it Multi-ethnic, multi-religious and multi-sect, BUT WITHIN THE ISLAMIC WORLD.

Different sects of Islam are protected, but Islam does NOT protect the Christian religion nor any other religion and neither does their constitution. Christians are OUTSIDE the Muslim world.
