@zymuur acctually, the batteries are made in a factory that runs on solar power, and most of the plastics in the Prius are recycled, so overall, it evens out and the prius is truly a green car.

@zymuur k i was wrong and frankly it does not matter because my parents bought me a Mercedes and they told i cant have a hybrid because my extended family will make fun of me if i drive a toyota or a hybrid. god i hate my life

@Mrinebriation No I want to see your facts as well. The production of a prius is much more harmful to the environment then a making and using a hummer. A prius doesn't last 1/3 as long as a hummer would. And any diesel engine is far superior. If you want an environmentally friendly at least try.. Get a vw passat tdi clean diesel. Don't follow a trend, everyone that doesn't like a prius also makes fun of you. which is 98% of the world or so I bet.

I can't wait until they upgrade from the Atkinson cycle engine to a homogenous stratified charge engine. 10% more mileage
