it's probably becuase of your ati card, ati card's doesn't have any good linux drivers

I just installed aMsn. I was wondering about the specs or your PC. It seems that every time I try to record a video it doesn't record smooth at all. I have a toshiba satellite p35-s6292, ati mobility radeon 9700, and 2GB of system memory. I would think this would be enough for a smooth video recording but it's not. Any suggestions?
