I dont know how she votes, but she sounds like a conservative. Hopefully we will have a concervative to vote for in the next election. All we have had for years are choices between Liberals (democrates) and Liberal-Lites (republicans). Many of us are not crazy about Rush, but he did say one thing that has stuck in my mind several years ago when discussing the very problems of modern families, "Women can have men as husbands, or they can have them be gang members".

Sister Julia Hare is a self-conscious scholar and psychologist who knows how to uplift our brothers and sisters.

Sister Julia teaches us that as African men and women, we need to love each other, inspire each other and to build things to make our relationships more stronger and healther without any fears.

Dr. Hare is a breathe of fresh air! She is "Tellin' it Like it Is" most definitely! She's exposing issues in the black community that "others" are hiding. The "illusion of Inclusion" has been going on for so long in the black community...how long...too long! Dr. Hare did not stutter nor stumble her words. Her words are subtle, then slices like swords. Dr. Hare, keep those swords sharp! Peace!

I live in East Harlem and nearly 98% of everyone I have spoken with on the topic of disciplining their children have told me that a ACS story meaning they have had some interaction with the local social service agency for children. They are literally scared of their children and are afraid of disciplining them. This sister, Dr. Julia Hare is wisdom personified! AMEN and AMEN and AMEN! As to Black leadership, what was the relevance of a "SHOPPING FOR JUSTICE" March for Sean Bell?

The civilization of any society structurally and functionally rests on its most important collective unit - the family. Why does every other institutions, organisations and body of people have a structure and leadership but the family, as vital to social stability and progress, as it is, does not? I say, the man should head the home and that does not mean abusing that position or subjugating the woman. It simply means that there would be order, responsibility, stability and visionary leading.
