It's a nice sentiment, but sort of shows ignorance of the beauty of the deaf culture.

There are other ways to life. It's great to be able to hear. But it is presumptuous to wish for people to have something they don't want. Like religious fanatics praying for the heathens. Ironically, my BA is in Music Education and I am very religious.

But there are other ways to find joy.
