The new attraction opening in Tomorrowland at Disneyland, Anaheim.
The text in the video may be hard to read, so I'll also put it here:
The Innoventions Dream Home
(AKA The New House of the Future)
Lets start with the history of the
original House of the Future
In 1957, the Monsanto House of the Future opened
It was a walk-through "house" that showed what a typical house would look like in the future
In 1967, the attraction closed because the "futuristic" items were outdated by the 60's
When the ride closed, some people were disappointed and wanted it to come back.
Their dreams came true about 40 years later when it was announced Disney would open it up.
The new House of the Future would be in the Innoventions building and is currently under construction
In early June, Annual Passholders will get a sneak-peek in the new attraction
So it will perhaps be open to the public during the summer.

The 'old' Monsanto house was cool & modern. They had a hell of a time trying to smash it down. It was very strong.. and the 'new' house of tomorrow..? It was crap. Post-modernism glitz.. so ugly.. so old.. old..

That and the fact that it is built with Microsoft tech. The house could crash, leaving you with nothing but a blue screen of death to live in. Who want's that?
