Adapted from the novel, "The Handsome Siblings", by Gu Long, this movie tells a story about two brothers separated after their parents' death during infancy. One of the brothers, Jiang Xiao Yu, is taken by his uncle and grows up in the Villains' Valley while the other brother, Hua Mu Juet, is taken by the Princess of Yi Hua to grow up with her. Years pass by and Mu Juet is ordered by the Princess to kill Jiang Xiao Yu. However, it seems that Mu Juet can't seem to kill his own brother as the two brothers admire each other. Not to mention that both men don't know that they are siblings.

Thanks aumurg, another fun film! Gu Long's "Fishy" reminds me of Jin Yong's Wei Xiaobao; both live more by their wits than their brawn. Looking around on-line I came across a site called wuxiapedia, who are doing group translations of the four major wuxia authors, though few of the books except "Sentimental Swordsman, Ruthless Sword" have been completed yet.

Great movie -Fu Sheng was the best at Shaw, and that is really saying alot. (So many great worked there.)

I actually got this movie from a friend with English language, Iwas so shocked that this came in English as rerading movies can be a bit of a pain in the ass!

classic already got it in my collection from fuflixbulletin, however it's a nice piece that I can watch over and over agian cause of alexanders humor.
