Hey, forget what the guys below say when they say you suck. You're pretty good, you just need to work on some technique and stuff. I've been playing alto for almost three years, and when I play the tenor, it's pretty hard to play in comparison, it sounds almost like this technique-wise. Anyways, good luck with playing, despite the fact that it's four years later and you're probably really good now. :P

Hand size don't really matter though I can play all the saxophones and my hands are small ...if you can play one you can play them all

heres a tip, try to experiment with notes other than the ones in the blues scale. ive only been player tenor for two years and its made my solos sound alot better

@realdeal9876 that's my reason too

Nice. I play alto, and hate how it sounds. Well, I played alto. I haven't been playing much lately. I might continue with another version later in life.
Good job....
i started the tenor sax last year when i'm thirteen i wanted the alto because it's smaller but i find it harder to blow in the alto

@TheDOBERMAX For me, the tenor just came naturally because my hand size was bigger, and my jaw pressure was so great, that when I played alto, my jaw would cramp! lol i still play it in pep band, and it's still a ton of fun even after 6 1/2 years! I hope you have as much fun as I did! :D

lol i like lower sounds better usually...but i actually like the sound of the alto better than the tenor. Yeah..since the mouthpiece is smaller...it takes a more direct stream of air to make it sound better.
