@MrCoreyCole Well, you have the right not to. I base my belief in G-d in something substantial and not in how I personally feel about something. I don't think that my feelings affect G-d's will, and through other revelations can no longer reject G-ds existence. But the premise that the Jews were set apart in order to be the guide or the older brother to the other nations seems logical to me, and you can't continue being that guide if you abandon the system that molds you.

@MrCoreyCole lol. Think what you want, but G-d set the Jews apart from the Gentiles for a reason. Intermarriage is clearly forbidden according to the text, the reason for this is that it destroys your childrens Jewish identity. If you need proof for it just look at the state of diaspora Jewry today where more than 50% intermarry. If you care about your religion and actually believe in it then marrying within the religion isn't being discriminatory, it's being practical.

@MrCoreyCole That if authority figures don't try to instill a sense of pride and self-worth that people are just going to go find their own ways or have none. Too many Jewish parents aren't instilling a Jewish belief system in their children so they grow about behaving about the same as gentiles do.
