  • Gareth Pugh A/W 2009, you would love London based fashion designers!

    Much Love. MADISON thing

  • did you see the balenciaga show?

I loved it, i thought it was awesome. he played with light and metallic colors. It was kinda of alien like. He kept the shapes simple and focused on everything else.

I was really disappointed in Gallianos line. All the clothes looked like they belonged in a Macy's catalog, yeah its ready to wear, but still i expected stuff that was a little more artsy. Yeah, he had the over the top wigs, but that aint gonna cut it john.

ps. im going to fidm next year =]

  • im going to fidms fashion show in febuary 2009! Im excited..but is it going to be good?

  • i wasnt impressed with a lot of designers this time.. but every so often there would be some amazing shows..

  • comeon didnt u see rad hourani...if u did..didnt u think it was amazing? :O he was like my fav...

  • Agyness Deyn definitely elevated Burberry's designs. Gemma Ward's look is getting rather.. used, however. I get her and Sasha P. get mixed up all the time.

Regarding the designers.. I'll have to get back to you on that. I haven't watched ANY shows this season. :(

BTW, I'm a big fan of your videos.

  • You're purty..and worth listening to.

  • i <3 Burberry!

  • When I was attending FIDM one of my teachers who was a buyer once said that fashion is a huge reflection of the economy, hence the more fabric is involved with garments, the worse the economy is...the less fabric, the better the economy. Ever notice that??? The super long, flowy stuff started coming in style right around the time gas was sky rocketing.

  • I get WGSN through work, let me know if you ever want access. I feel like if you're going to experiment with controversial shape... you have to show within the same collection how it can be translated to garments that will flatter the typical body. Good to see you again, it's been aaaages!
