Rayman 2 TGE - Escape the Prison Ship

It's Rayman 2: The Great Escape for the Dreamcast. I'm going to play the whole game.

Holy crap. I lucked out when I ran into this game yesterday. A pawn shop well selling this in relatively good condition for $7 CDN. I have played the N64 version and loved it, but I heard that the dreamcast one was said to be the best one.

This game exists on SIX different platforms! Nintendo 64, Playstation, PC, Dreamcast, DS, and Playstation 2 (as Rayman 2: Revolution). This may be the best because it's the only one to maintain a 60 Frames per second display which looks supreme.

So here is the intro. Not much action yet but it's coming.

Hello,

Thanks to jour videos I managed to play the whole game (on pc). But now I see that I miss 50 yellow lums. All entrances are pink. What did I do wrong? Or is there maybe an extra level?

Both The Bayou and The Sactuary of Rock and Lava have an exit panel that leads to one of Ly's Time Races. They are "The Walk of Life" and "The Walk of Power". These are found at the beginning of the stage, so look around when you start the levels.

this is now avalible on iphone which means its now on six platforms and 2 handhelds (ipod touch and iphone)

Nah... but jokes aside, I wasn't aware of an Ipod Touch version. does it play just like this one?

There is also a 3DS version. the 3DS and iPod touch vers. are the dreamcast version with the globox crystals removed. The iPod Touch version runs at 60fps on a ipod touch/iphone 4 or higher, while the 3DS is 60fps always.

so techinically there's 8 vers. now

i have this on pc. the sound started messing up so i got a patch. now the music and sound effects hardley play INCLUDING MUSIC. cuz it was my first proper game i desided 2 get it on ds. THAT WAS A PILE OF CRAP. after playing that abomination of a port of what was previousley the worst version of the game (n64 cuz of grafix and sound quality and stuff) i got the ps2 version from my friend. and its glitched. it registers me tilting thae anlouge stick left a bit so i get stuck on the minigamemenu
