Douglas WF-150 lefty (rondomusic dotcom)
Behringer AM100 acoustic modeler
Behringer DM100 distortion modeler
Behringer GDI21 amp modeler / recording preamp
Tapco mixer
AmbiLoop
Windows 7
Midiman OxyGen8 for some simple AmbiLoop MIDI control
Behringer BCR2000 for AmbiLoop volume, pan and muting

Just trying to demonstrate:
1 - how effective the acoustic simulation is in the context of a basic mix)
2 - how layering guitars can fill out a v-e-r-y simple chord progression
3 - how a pretty decent sound doesn't necessarily need expensive gear

oh, I think it's pertinent to mention that single coil pickups *really* help to prevent the mix from becoming too muddy ;-)

  • Do you like the guitar? It's a toploader bridge isn't it? Do you have any issues with that?

  • @lxsguitarman i'm using windows 7. as soon as i connected it, it just appeared as a midi device. i didn't have to do anything :-/

  • Hey Dave, how did you get the Oxygen to control Ambiloop? I just bought an Oxygen8 v2 used to use with ambiloop, downloaded the drivers from m audio website.not sure what I did wrong but the msg says device not recognized any suggestions? Thanx

  • Hey Dave,

That was very cool. I've got to study that more. Nice text overlay. That's what I've been needing because I'm not that proficient with the ambiloop. I keep wondering whatcha doing there?

And thanks for the shot of metronome.

    Pat
