Strength is key for tennis players. Using the Lateral Resistor in this drill, tennis players can work on increasing abductor strength which will aid in quicker and more powerful lateral movements.

  • @DjuraMutavi55 I think he has strength and power confused. no doubt the strength is needed but you could develop this better more safely by other means. speed and strength is power, completely different training and I dont see it here effectively.

  • Strength is not a main key. Speed and speed endurance are most valuable physical values for tennis player. To develop strength brain has to use slow muscle fibers which would significantly slow down any tennis player and that is not what we want.
