Deus Ex - Human Revolution: Saving Malik the easy way

Quick and easy way to save Malik. You can avoid getting shot in the face by the bottom Assault Rifle goon easily but I didn't see a need. If you're after a pacifist run you might need to get the guys close to the mech away but imo just do another run for that. I've finished the game twice didn't save Malik the first time as I was after pacifist and when that mech showed up i thought fuck it.

This was the best video for me on how to save her. I watched a couple of other ones and it didn't work but this one finally worked for me.

When I was looking for a solution to save Malik this was by far the best video tutorial I came across. While I didn't do it in *exactly* the same way it certainly gave me a great template to work from. I used an EMP mine rather than a grenade which had the benefit of sticking to the mech. The mech explosion took out a few of the bad guys which really helped! Thanks to @Kyorisu for the upload, much appreciated! I should also add that I felt like I'd really achieved something by saving Malik.

Thanks for the upload. I was doing this scene in a few different ways, all of which were unsuccessful. Took 2 tries to complete this scene using this route.

Whooo! Took me over a dozen tries, but thanks to this vid, Malik survived :D

I might have ruined my pacifist run with anyone killed in the EMP robot explosion, or maybe that doesn't count cos technically the robot killed them... guess I'll find out =D
