I have been to his house when you ring the bell it is loud but cool but every one was scared because the stair in the attic to the bell was so high my friend almost felled it is KINDA scary

'I only went out for a walk, and finally concluded to stay out until sundown, for going out I found was merely going in'. Without the contribution of this wonderful & thoughtful naturalist, who knows what would have become of Yosemite, and if the National Park service would have even been created. He was a man of wisdom, to conserve, to be thoughtful about all life and all species.
