Some people don't deserve politely, mate. His entire knowledge of WW2 comes from an episode of Fawlty Towers.

it is comrehensible since you gain respect for the men and their courage, not for the flag they're fighting under. I'm sure there are plenty of stories of this type to be told for the German side. my grandpa was a veteran of the war in the Soviet army, with numerous wounds. while he knew the righteousness of their cause and was very patriotic, I never heard a bad word about Germans from his mouth. If anything, he was very respectful; spoke about the Germans and their discipline with admiration.

I'm from Denmark - occupied by Germany in 1940 .... I do NOT hold you responsible for the actions of your forefathers :) - I will judge you on YOUR actions alone, and so you should with me!

well you gotta admit the nazis had some impressive tech and tactics like the blitzkrieg

they took half of europe without big trouble... until they marched on Mosque than things got messy with wars on 4 fronts and stuff like that

seriously germany could have united the world... if only the leaders and the whole ideology hadnt been this insane and fucked up
