  • how do I tighten my m56 h suspenders so the belt fits better?

  • @oldschoolcommy what exactly do you mean, so the belt is up higher? then just sinch up both straps in front and back until its up high enough....

  • @TheShopRatsGear sorry i guess my comment was pretty vague, I'm trying to tigthen the belt part that goes around your waist, I was told you have to unhook the clips or something but I cant figure out how to do it?

  • @oldschoolcommy the WWII version will have an one adjustable side, the Vietnam ones have both ends adjustable, just unhook the metal end piece from the middle row of grommets and shorten it to desired length, then put the hook back into the grommet, and put one of the keepers at the end so it doesnt come undone

  • Normal grunts didn't carry M1911. Mainly NCOs, machinegunners, medics, etc.

  • @INORT12 well we have no MP's around here...and we only have like 2 cops that work like one day a week, and why would i want to walk around in the street with this stuff in the first place?

  • hey since u know so much about gear like me do u agree that the buttpack looks like m67

  • @Roguesoldier678 No problem, anything for a fellow Vietnam enthusiast, if you have any questions with how gear was worn/used message me.

  • @xXCaptnPeteXx THANK YOU! You have helped me out a lot! :D

  • @Roguesoldier678 They've got some fantastic stuff for sale, even the rarest of Vietnam militaria. A very cool fact is that they've helped supply gear to many movies like X-Men: First Class andTropic Thunder.

  • @xXCaptnPeteXx Thank you.

  • @Roguesoldier678 Moore Militaria is a very good place to check.

  • @SgtMcCullin Grunt's carried what ever they could get their hands on. It's not likely that they had one, but it's not an outlandish idea that one could've carried an M1911.

  • Where did you get the m-69 flak vest?

  • hey bud that buttpack looks like a m67 field pack which was used in vietnam and is pretty hard to find so nice loadout
