I was at this show. His arm was actually in a sling because he slipped off the stage in Washington DC. They did a bunch of shows in Boston. This was a 3 night stand at the old Sullivan stadium. I dont know if they played the garden that tour. I do know they played the Centrum though. My friend threw his baseball cap on the stage and Bono read it out loud. Asked who wants to go to Darcy's pub for a drink after the show.

Foxboro? Wait. I was at the Joshua Tree show at Boston Garden in 87', or AROUND this time! I'll have to dig out my ticket stub collection!! Good stuff regardless!!!

No point saying these were the best times of U2, because it's a matter of opinions. One thing is sure: these were MY best times with them

Everybody check out 'U2 writing a song'. Type it in and there should be a few videos of them on a beach. It's one of the best video's i've ever seen on youtube of this great band!

By the way I'm very greatful to Bibien for postings these. It just blows my mind that these have been floating around for the last 20 years and I get to enjoy them now.

Check that, the DVD artwork has it right. One of the bloggers who generously posted the compressed videos made the mistake while transcribing the contents.
