Accompagner quelqu'un qui meurt - Going along a dying one

Quand quelqu'un va mourir, être présent(e) à ses côtés. Gratuitement, pour rien. Rien à faire, rien à dire, sinon être là pour quelqu'un. A côté et avec, pas à la place de. Et offrir cet espace, simplement, sans craindre le silence, sans chercher à remplir quoi que ce soit. Pour lui, pour elle. A son rythme à lui, à elle.

Being near some one who is dying. Letting the dying one give the rhythm to time passing by, to the things that may be done or said at this time.
Only one thing to offer : your loving presence, your tender listening and maybe answering. Being just there : something so simple , but sometimes so difficult to realize.
