The 1st beast of Revelation is not Roman Catholicism, The false church is the Adulterous WOMAN who RIDES the beast and is later destroyed by it, and it includes both protestants and catholics who do not love the knowledge of the Truth, and who are deceived by false teaching. Scripture interprets scripture. I hate to say it, I believe he means well, but this lecturer is mistaken in a lot of what he says. He does bring out good points,but much of what is said is simply not scriptural nor factual

In order to state that the 1st Beast of Revelation 13 is not the Papal System, you would have to destroy the brick-by-brick structure that was built by our Reformation Protestants, and it took the brightest minds over the last 800 years to come to this unmovable conclusion. To reject that the Papal System is the 1st Beast of Revelation, is to blindly fall into the snare of Rome, and end up accepting the Mark of the Beast, which is Sunday Sacredness.

@TheClosingOfTime Well of course you do, lol. And I feel the same, but I guess only time will tell, huh? I know what the word says, and have prayed over these things for years. All I can say is that I believe I am seeing it properly based on what the Lord has shown me and on my own research into the historical facts. I am sure you would say the same. I have shown you what I see,, and you have shown what you believe to be true. I guess at this point all we can do is pray for each other :)

Identity of the First beast (Empire) - 7 heads, 10 horns-10 crowns- Looks like a Leopard,feet like a bear,mouth like a lion,dragon(satan) gives him his seat & authority. Daniel7-Fourth Beast Roman Empire- devours (EATS) the empires before it causing them to become part of it. The last empire was the Roman Empire which swallowed the LION(Babylon)BEAR(Media-Persia­)LEOPARD(Greece-Alexander the Great/Seleucid) - In Revelation it also has 10 horns, and the characteristics of the empires it swallowed
