Lovely to see. Time doesn't exist... we invented it...

A delicious subtext to this is that the autobiography of the story's author, Joan Lindsay, is titled "Time Without Clocks".

when i was at hanging rock i had a really scary experience. I was in the toilets and i heard a man saying 'someone's in here i'm gonna find you.' i thought it was my dad so i opened the door and went outside but my dad was way over at the picnic table so i went back in and there was someone in the other cubical that i clearly hadn't noticed was occupied but then my mum came out of it and she heard the voice aswell. super scary!

All the best musical selections, a wonderful tapestry that captures the moment.

All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.

Love this. Thank you very much for posting.
I also loved the Movie when it came out back in the 1970s. Never got to figure out the Mystery though.

for anyone interested, you can stay at martindale hall it is now a B&B. Ask them to take you on a tour of the kitchen and learn about the housemaid who fell down the cellar stairs and haunts that part of the house.

There is a state park here in Oklahoma called Robbers' Cave State Park (near Wilburton, Oklahoma) that reminds me so much of Hanging Rock. It has wonderful natural stone formations and caves that outlaws used as hideouts prior to Oklahoma statehood. Belle Starr and Jesse James are among the outlaws who sought refuge there. There has even been treasure unearthed there, but teenagers and vandals have gone in and cleaved whole cliff faces off by driving wedges into natural cracks in the rock.>

(Continuation) Many of the outlaw caves are now unrecognizable. Even the treasure symbols the outlaws carved into the rocks to guide them back to their loot have been jeopardized. Needless to say, I'm glad this travesty hasn't happened at Hanging Rock.
Like Ayers Rock People should not Climb it.Every time i have Climbed it weird Stuff happened that Week.
