hey fred, this one got released first, then it showed up on the independents lp after maurice jackson joined the group. originally there were 3. anyhow it is indeed some of donny's work in chi-town!

First time hearing this one,but seeing Donny Hathaway in the credits made it worthwile checking out. That's his piano in the mix,I can tell his playing anywhere. Chicago recording? This one is nice.

If I can dig the bugger out from somewhere, Its on a brunswick or a wand Lp somewhere, I think its the only decent track on it. After hearing this, it is identical apart from the angels singing
