Surrounded by his family, Brunswick County Sheriff John Ingram accepted the GOP nomination sheriff Tuesday night at Brunswick Countys Republican headquarters in Bolivia.
Ingram defeated his primary challenger, Tim Daniels, 6,908 votes to 3,351 votes, or 67 percent to 32 percent.
