Original video from performance at the Museum of Tolerance. This performance was a culmination of LA Opera's Opera Camp in 2005. Brundibár is a 35-minute children's opera created in 1938 by Czech Jewish artists Hans Krása and Adolf Hoffmeister. The piano score for Brundibár was smuggled into the Terezín concentration camp where it was performed at least 55 times by camp children, including a performance for the International Red Cross Inspectors on June 23, 1944.
