HA! that is so true! I keep thinking for a grown woman she is always over the top and has no control of her emotions, but I chock that up to it being a "children's" show...

Well Paprika is a full length movie...but Satoshi Kon did do a series called "Paranoia Agent" which is pretty good too... it is more of an "X-files" type story where each episode could almost stand alone but they are all related by the central premise...

i haven't seen that but i've heard paprika is good and i'm looking for a new series to start tonight... and i like the anime as a medium not a genre concept so thanks for the suggest

Hey...o.k. so a bunch of questions/comments
-Do you watch the Sarah Jane adventures? What do you think? I'm kinda pleased that they have a South Asian girl on the show now, although I'll miss Maria
-Since you like anime, have you seen the various Satoshi Kon movies? I LOVE his work as he treats Anime as a medium and not a genre...Perfect Blue and Millenium Actress are movies that could have been live action and still been great movies.

sarah jane is ok - i have a problem with her consistently overacting but the stories are entertaining and i like the kids.
