Thanks for posting this. I see our house in Spanish Grant second 23-24.
Has anyone got video of the helicopter flyovers of 9/14? We saw them quickly on television but it would be helpful if someone could post here.

I'm trying to find my house, it's when the film jumps ahead at second 22 - You can see half of the(what I think is) Casa Del Amore the big pink house on the left side of the screen.
My house 'should' be dwarfed behind it. If not, it's the house just to the right of the big black blob in the middle of the picture and the pink house thats infront of mine is gone...

Anyone been out to the area? I am trying to find out if my brother's house is still standing, he was about half way between the beach and the bay in PB, but the video starts just slightly too far east.... also if anyone finds any other coverage of this area i would LOVE to see it!

It's just shocking to see the devastation, especially in Pirates. JB looked flooded, but moderately in one piece...
I wish there was footage of farther out. I grew up in Sea Isle, and my dad still lives there. The lack of information is driving me nuts...

I stayed near Jamaica Beach last July, on 16 mile road. I sure hope the house made it through the storm. I wanted to stay there again next year.
Galveston is a pretty place to go, much nicer than other beach towns I have been to. I hope it survives this.
was this video taken Sunday, Spet 14th?

In the first 5 seconds you see 3005 at Buccaneer in Jamaica Beach. Then they pan to the bay and off to Pirate's.
