  • @Rollora Fail on you I guess. First you say 20hz. Then you say 15hz. But your wrong. Mp3 can do 1hz if you compress it right.

  • @37474748 no mp3 cannot do below ~16 hz, thats just a fact. And also youtube cannot. Because that's the thing of compression: First step is to take everything away, a human ear cannot hear anyways so it doesn't matter if it is not in the file. So you cannot hear what isn't there, it would simply not make sense to make sound for elephants (who would hear that) that makes the file big again. It also makes no sense, because normal speakers can't do below ~20hz

  • @Rollora old topic i refer to my last comment.

  • that's 3Dmark2001 not 2006, you wouldn't even launch it with 3Dfx!

  • @atomicJo42 you are right sorry my bad... must have screwed things up i think you are correct there.

  • @37474748 you are right - with lame you can do what ever you want, but it still will cut everything what is too close together

  • @37474748 don'T know what you mean, but I can tell you, you cannot "compress it right" because mp3 is a codec that doesn't work "right" or wrong, it just works the way it works and cuts out frequencies below the human hearing and above that too, so you can also not annoy a dog with it, if you try to ;-)

Sry for my late replies, tried improve audiocodec ;-)

  • @37474748 youtube cant do below 16hz and above 20k hz, just like mp3 etc

  • @Rollora not true.

  • Hmm but you cannot hear tones on Youtube that are below 20hz
