@darkhyena No, he doesn't, but lots of children start to believe that wolves are bad because of that story, and he was joking, of course. But wolves have been persecuted from the middle ages already, maybe even earlier.

Does Shaun Ellis actually believe that wolf persecution began with the Red Riding Hood story?

I've met Shaun Ellis, I adopted Tamaska, the older timber wolf of the pack, and I got to go into the enclosure with him and the wolves. Best experience on earth, he's influenced what I want to do with my life.

it would most likely be disturbing to tell you about our plan to hunt hunters on hunting permitted land, i mean really.. who would know? :) plus the ex military factor makes our chances for being caught negligible... i wonder how much my military pals would pay for that hunting trip... gonna be a blast!!!! :)

On the west coast, there are many stories and traditions that tell about the Wolf being the original master of the land. They tought humans how to sing and dance, to hunt in packs and live in families and defer to a chief.
There are so many stories demonizing this animal told to children, why not some of the nicer ones?

On the west coast, many native believe the Wolf is the original master of the land that taught humans how to live in families and sing, to defer to a chief or head of clan and hunt together succesfully. It's a beautiful thought.
There are just too many 'bad-wolf' stories still told to our children giving them a bad reputation. How about the nicer stories for once?

Im conservative. Not too far right winged. I am also part Native American.. And killing wolves is horrible. I love these animals. Honestly, If hunters were on my family's land hunting wolves, me and my family would kill the hunters. SAVE THE WOLVES!!!

And to think that the right-wing nutcase gov't of Idaho is opening wolf hunting when there's only about 800 recovered in the whole state, all so backwards hicks get their kill-rush. Save a wolf, shoot a hunter.
I wish there were more people like this guy on earth

Amazing man, an inspiration to wolf lovers everywhere. He proves that these wild animals are like us, we live in families, kill to survive and have similar forms of hierarchy in our societies.
Thumbs up for Shaun!
