@davidmartin8000 the thing is there are a set of rules for battling in comedy, and a strict code of conducts for mainstream comedians. you battle over whose funnier, not jowning back and forth the whole time or even worse the whole time. thats not what comedians do, that's what people do in grade school or in barbershops. kat williams broke that code and people with no class loved it.

@shadowmixx i don't think it's that deep. i don't think steve harvey would have any reason to lie about why he did it. it's obvious he did it for the money cuz why would he turn down a comedy show with katt williams who was the most popular comedian at the time? it's not like they really knew eachother & did this as friends. he said before that he didn't like the idea but did it anyway. someone who has the resume he does doesn't NEED to do anything he doesnt wana do. he did it for the money.
